FriendsVolunteersThe "I Love U Guys" Foundation, represented by Board, would like to publicly thank all the wonderful people who help make our events a success. We sincerely thank Columbine High School and specifically Frank DeAngelis, Karen Jones and Eileen Doolan for their continued support. The incident at Platte Canyon High School caused emotional upheaval for many in the Columbine community. Parents, staff and students from Columbine stepped forward to embrace us, personally, and also offered support to Platte Canyon High School. A very gracious, very welcome, bit of hand-holding. Columbine High School hosts the start of Emily's Parade each year, donates the proceeds of tee-shirt sales to The "I Love U Guys" Foundation, and has donated $15,000 in scholarships to graduating Platte Canyon students. They continue to help in so many ways. Students and staff in the Platte Canyon School District have welcomed Emily's Parade each year with open, helpful arms. Last year, especially, with construction at the school they found a way to make it all work. Special thanks to Superintendent Dr. Jim Walpole, Elliott Mansk, Cindy Owsiany, Cathy Scott and Ruth Barth. Words can only begin to express the depth of our gratitude.
Big thanks to Jim Arnett, Jack Portice, Elvira Beck and the Colorado Motorcycle Show & Swap for donating their time, skills and resources to Emily's Parade. Warm, fuzzy thanks to the many volunteers who worked with us at Columbine and at Platte Canyon to make the 3rd Annual Emily's Parade in 2008 a success, and those who helping organize the 4th Annual Emily's Parade.
