This year Emily's Parade will run on the anniversary date of the shooting, which somehow makes the event a bit more poignant.
Once again, Columbine High School will host the Parade start; registration begins at 8:00AM. We'll take the same route as prior years because it works so well; there's no need to change it! We're counting on our glorious Colorado sunshine again this year! Departure time is set firmly at 10:30AM. Food will be served at the start and finish.
Proceeds will be used to support local programs, and will be distributed responsibly and effectively toward the stated goals of The "I Love U Guys" Foundation.
• The 1st Annual Emily's Parade raised over $70,000, which was transferred to the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA) to be privately administered for the benefit of the six girls who survived the Platte Canyon High School shooting.
• Over 1600 bikes were counted at the 2nd Annual Emily's Parade; funds raised from that Ride were distributed to our beneficiaries: Colorado Uplift, Bridges to Peace and Step 13.

Logistics
Sept. 27, 2008: Begin assembling early in the South Parking Lot at Columbine High School (6201 S. Pierce St. Littleton, CO 80123). Leave Columbine HS at 10:30AM. Finish at Platte Canyon High School (57393 U.S. Highway 285, Bailey, CO 80421). The distance is approximately 37 miles.
Registration includes refreshments at Columbine High School and lunch at Platte Canyon High School.

Fundraising
While the event is a fundraiser for The "I Love U Guys" Foundation, there is no cost to register and join the parade. Your participation is an honor to us and our community. Should you wish to donate, the suggested minimum is $27 per bike to honor the date.
