Advisory Board
We're assembling an advisory board to assist with the Foundation's growth. Our first meeting is scheduled for May 25th, 2010, 3:00pm-5:30pm (Metro area location to be determined). This is a jump-right-in meeting where we hope to provide initial orientation, organize committees and chairs, set the meeting schedules for the year, and outline personal commitments.The intent is to gather folks with expertise, contacts or experience in growing a national organization. Some of the skill-sets we seek include general business, fundraising, marketing, public relations, finance, project management, and operations. We also think this arm should include people who have contacts or experience with issues facing kids today and how we can address them.
